History is the record of conversations between you and your contacts. Miranda logs all messages and file transfers, for you to keep, to refer back to if you want to.
Message history is stored in the database.
How do I access history?[]
To access the history for a contact, right click their name on your contact list, and choose 'View History'.
Is it possible to extend the history function?[]
Yes, using the History Plus Plus Plugin. It allows you to easily search, and sort your messages.
Is it possible to turn off history logs in Miranda?[]
No, it is not currently possible to disable history logging in Miranda.
The best solution is to use History Sweeper Plugin, to erase your contact's history with ease.
Do not request this feature to be added, the developers already appreciate that people want this.
